He was 81. The D odgers announced the death o f one o f their all-tim e greats but gave no other details. Reese spent his entire 16-year career with the Dodgers, appearing in seven W orld Series. He played 15 years in B rook lyn and follow ed the team to Los A ngeles for one m ore season before retiring in 1958. I definitely remember watching her when I was growing up and she was always dominating. She has a great place in the history o f w om en’s tennis.
